How do I care for my rayon dress?

Many Maive & Bo maternity wrap dresses are made from rayon. Why? Rayon is a natural, soft and comfortable fabric. It's a lightweight fabric that's breathable and feels amazing to wear. Being a delicate fabric though, it's important to take care during the washing and drying process. Here are some tips on how to make your rayon dress last the distance: 

WASHING TIPS

  • Wash in cold water with a mild detergent, if you have a detergent for dedicates - that would be ideal.
  • Soak your rayon fabric in the basin until it completely wet. Then, gently swirl your fabric around the basin using your hands. Avoid harsh or rapid movements, such as those that would cause a splash.
  • Avoid excess agitation whilst your garment is wet, Rayon is weaker when wet than when dry. 
  • Gently squeeze the excess water out from the fabric. Avoid harsh wringing and twisting of the fabric.
  • You have to support the whole garment when lifting and carrying. 
  • We recommend hand washing & line drying Rayon clothing, and handling wet rayon with extra care.
  • When ironing rayon, turn the garment inside out, set the temperature to low heat and don’t use any steam. Iron one small area at a time to avoid stretching. 

What is your returns policy?

We accept returns within 14 days of you receiving your purchase. Items need to be in their original sale condition with tags and unworn. 

Please email: orders@maiveandbo.com to notify us of your return. You will be given instructions on how to proceed.

Your refund will be processed using the original form of payment (excluding shipping & handling charges) Please note, all sale items are final sale. And we cannot refund on Afterpay purchases. 

Please do not send returns back without notifying our office. 

My purchase turned up and I have changed my mind

That is fine, you are more than welcome to send it back for a refund, exchange or store credit. We accept returns within 14 days of your purchase arrival. Please email: orders@maiveandbo.com to advise us.

Once you have notified us we will give you instructions on how to proceed. Please note - we do not pay for return postage on change of mind purchases.

How long does it take to process a return?

Once we have received your returned item back it will take approx 2 business days to process. 

How do I exchange?
Email us at orders@maiveandbo.com to notify us of your return and exchange request and we will be happy to assist you from there in finding an alternate style or size. 

How long do your store credits last?

12 months from date of issue.

Can I return Swimwear?

Yes, you can. We will only accept swimwear for return that has the protective hygiene liner completely attached. 

We ask that you please try on the bottoms over your underwear and please don't remove the liner until you are sure that you want to keep the garment. 

Returns will only be accepted within 14 days. 

What’s the status of my order?

Once you have received your shipping confirmation email you can click through to tracking details to see the status of your delivery. 

eParcel has tracking from pick up to delivery. If you do not receive your shipping confirmation please contact orders@maiveandbo.com

Do you do same day metro delivery?

No

Do I need to sign for my order?

Yes we do need a signature on delivery for all parcels. If you are not available at the time of delivery then your parcel will be taken to the nearest post office for collection. Signatures are also required on delivery for all international orders.

Can I drop my return item off at your Head Office?

No, unfortunately we do not cater for customer service and returns at this location. Please email orders@maiveandbo.com for all return enquiries

I like a style I saw on the website that is not in stock yet, are you able to hold one aside for me?

Unfortunately, we do not hold stock. Sometimes you are able to pre-order a style, if so details will be provided on the website.

I am not pregnant but love your dresses. Can I still wear them?

Some of our dresses are more suited to a pregnant customer, however the wrap dresses are a little more flexible as they are adjustable and non-stretch. Some of our staff who are not pregnant enjoy wearing some of our styles.

How fast is your shipping?
We use Australia Post eParcel standard shipping service. Shipping to metro areas can be approximately 2-3 days. Rural areas can be 3-4 days. Our parcels do require a signature on delivery, so please make sure it is delivered to an address where someone is available to sign between 9am - 5pm.  You will be provided with tracking information via email after your purchase. 

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, at this stage we ship to New Zealand, United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. 

How do I know what size is best for me and do you have a size guide?

Yes, please consult our size guides before making a purchase to find your perfect fit! You will find our size guide on our website.

Why isn’t my size available?

If you don't see your size available for a particular product it generally means that we have sold out in that size.

We sometimes get top-ups for popular styles, or a customer may return an item in a sold-out size that did not fit them. In both cases we add the sizes back onto the site as they become available.

I have received an incorrect order?
If you have received an incorrect order please notify us at: orders@maiveandbo.com.au

We will send out the correct order with a reply-paid satchel for you to return the incorrect goods. 

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?

Unfortunately, no, we cannot change the delivery address after an order has been dispatched. If no one is available at the specified address and the parcel remains unclaimed then it is sent back to us and re-delivery charges will apply. 

If you do realise you have entered an incorrect address - please let us know ASAP with the new address details. We are able to update address details prior to item being dispatched.
